Join Carolina Curd for a fun class to learn about making cheese and other dairy products while learning a bit about the science of what’s really going on to make it happen!
Small group, hands-on classes let you have the whole experience that you can repeat in your own home! You’ll make easy-peazy fresh cheeses like ricotta and quick mozzarella or dairy products like butter, ghee and yogurt. With a little more experience, we head into your fav bloomy rind, lactic or pressed/aged cheeses. We’ll also put on our cheese nerd hats to learn about the magic behind it all - no science background needed!
Carolina Curd, LLC was started in 2019 by Jessica Vedeler. Vedeler has been teaching cheesemaking classes and has been a passionate cheesemaker for more than 6 years. Her passion for amazing cheese was born while she lived in Paris, France and through her travels in France and Quebec, Canada. She has professional training and experience from the Opus Caseus Academy in France, in Vermont and at the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Dairy Research. Jessica shares her knowledge and experience with the home cheesemaker through Carolina Curd.
